Super Sneaky Brownies
My daughter scarfed hers down and then wanted more.
4 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of softened butter
2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 large egg whites (I use a egg replacer due to allergies)
3/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Special sneaky ingredients:
1/2 cup of cooked and pureed spinach
1/2 cup of cooked and pureed carrots
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt semisweet chocolate chips on the stove in a small pan on a very low heat. In a bowl add melted chocolate, brown sugar, cocoa powder, butter, vanilla, and both pureed veggies. Mix well with a spoon. Whisk in egg whites. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Pour batter into a 8x8 greased pan, bake for 35 to 40mins. Cool completely in the pan before eating.
